Why would a company like Toyota oppose solutions to global warming?

As you know, Toyota is a prominent member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, which just launched a $100-million campaign to pour millions into killing clean energy via its lobbying efforts. Recently, an uprising of companies fighting back against the Chamber of Commerce has begun, led by companies like Apple, Nike, Johnson & Johnson, and GE.

Many of you have already taken action in this important campaign by posting photographs of your own Toyota in MoveOn's campaign photo gallery.

Now the campaign has moved to a second stage with a letter-writing effort. All you have to do is click here:

In a few easy steps you can make a big difference by sending a letter to the editor of your local newspaper. Make sure you include in your letter that Toyota needs to stop stalling on plug-in cars and immediately commit to delivering a plug-in for sale in showrooms.

You've made a difference in the past, please help us again.

Thank you for making your voice heard!
