Just a reminder that Saturday is the day of the largest EV parade ever, and it could be anywhere in the world. But it's not. It's virtually in your own back yard, and it's happening tomorrow! So don't miss it.
We have some updated news and corrections for our local supporters.
Corrections
First things first. Our previous email had some typos in the street address and ZIP. The correct address is 1855 Main St., Santa Monica, CA 90401 (Google Map). The press conference is at 9:30am and the parade is at 10am. Plan to arrive at 9am and we'll have some donuts and coffee. People signed up to drive their EV in the parade should get there earlier (email us if you haven't yet received your Participant Tip Sheet)

We have a new dedicated parade webpage. We'll be keeping that page updated with all the latest details. Download a flyer to distribute to friends. Check back soon for a listing of our full lineup of vehicles.
New Podcasts
We've had a flurry of new podcasts posted recently. Two of them are parade-related. Listen to PIA Communications Director Zan Dubin Scott talk about the parade in the first one. And in Part 2, listen to Steve Factor talk about his converted Toyota Tacoma EV, the "Solar Taco". The "Taco" is one of our parade vehicles, so you'll be able to see it on Saturday.

Parade coverage has spread throughout the world. The story was picked up yesterday by Stern Magazine in Germany. And we're gratified that Detroit is watching closely as well.
Support Plug In America
This plug-in-awareness event couldn't happen without Plug In America which, in turn, can't exist without donations from fellow plug-in supporters like you. Give to the organization that is shaking up people's conception of EVs, and sending a message to our state and federal leaders. The event itself is free, but donations help defray costs such as a $2,000 bill for a city police escort Donors of at least $100 can opt for a ride in a brand new Tesla or a rider spot in one of the parade EVs. $50 donations get you a free gift that you can pick up at our press conference booth or have mailed to you.
